Pickup Information
π Bus Riders
Students riding the bus will report to the bus bay on Paseo Las Palmas.
Please remember that student ID cards are required to board and exit the bus each day.
π« Parking & Traffic Safety
Please help us keep our campus safe by observing all traffic laws and school procedures.
Arizona State Law (ARS 28-901.B) states:
"In receiving or discharging children at the school, a person who drives a vehicle carrying children to and from school shall stop the vehicle on the side of the highway on which the school is located."
Additionally:
Do not park in fire lanes.
Do not park near fire hydrants.
Do not park in crosswalks or other restricted areas.
Follow all staff directions during arrival and dismissal.
Please be patient and courteous to other drivers and pedestrians.
π² Bike, Scooter & Skateboard Safety
Students must walk their bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and similar devices while on campus and while crossing streets.
Walking means both feet are on the ground on the same side of the device. Riding or straddling bikes or scooters while moving through campus is not permitted.
Safety First at PDS!
Pueblo del Sol is a closed campus and ALICE-certified, which means visitors must sign in at the front office any time they are coming onto school grounds. Our gates will be locked during school hours and classroom doors will be locked at all times.
We will keep students in classrooms during storms and heavy rain. We will delay dismissal in unsafe weather. When we delay dismissal, we will send out an automated call, text message, and notifications via our SVUSD App to keep parents informed.
