I eagerly welcome you to Pueblo Del Sol Neighborhood School for the 2026-2027 school year. This letter contains several essential components to ensure your child's success. 

As we begin this exciting school year together, our focus is on building one strong Wolfpack community where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. While this year brings together new students, families, and staff, our shared commitment remains the same: providing every child with an exceptional educational experience in a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. 

High-Quality Teaching and Learning: Our teachers will continue to strengthen instruction by focusing on high-quality, standards-based teaching that actively engages students in learning. Through collaborative planning, ongoing professional learning, and the use of student data, we will ensure instruction meets the needs of every learner. Students can expect engaging lessons, meaningful learning experiences, opportunities to collaborate with classmates, and targeted support to help them succeed. 

Learning Walks That Support Continuous Improvement: Throughout the year, our leadership team will continue conducting classroom learning walks. These brief classroom visits allow us to celebrate effective instructional practices, provide meaningful support to teachers, and ensure all students are receiving high-quality instruction. Learning walks are not evaluations of students; rather, they are one way we continue growing together as educators to provide the best possible learning experiences for every child. 

One Wolfpack: A Positive School Culture: Creating a school where every child feels safe, valued, and connected continues to be one of our highest priorities. Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, we teach, model, and celebrate positive behaviors while building strong relationships with students. We believe students learn best when they feel a sense of belonging, and we are committed to making Pueblo Del Sol a place where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. 

Strong Partnerships with Families: We know student success is strongest when schools and families work together. This year, we are committed to providing consistent, timely communication and creating meaningful opportunities for family involvement. We encourage families to stay connected through school events, parent communication, and regular collaboration with teachers as we work together to support every student's success.
