The Sierra Vista Unified School District Exceptional Student Services Office operates within the bounds of Arizona statutes and federal requirements. The Arizona Department of Education produces a handbook to be used as a reference for parents of students with special needs so they can better understand their rights as a parent and the required special education procedures under which SVUSD operates.
