Buena Testing

Dear BHS Students and Families,

Thank you to all the students who participated in testing today. We are proud of how our students worked today and were committed to showing all they have learned this year. We had an amazing turnout!  Attendance was high for both the juniors and freshmen. Thanks to all of our parents and students who supported our testing schedule. We will have a small number of makeup tests for next week, which means we will not impact our normal schedules. Thank you to all our awesome staff who monitored and assisted. I am very proud of how well today went!

We will have one more day impacted by testing on Thursday, April 2nd.  Students in grades 11 should arrive at school no later than 7:20 and can expect to take the AzSci test, which has 3 sections. This test has a much shorter timeline and will impact only the morning. All other students should report to school no later than 10:40 AM for their classes. Please see the bell schedule below for Thursday. If your students ride the bus, there will be the traditional run at the normal times for any students who need to report at 7:20, and then a second run approximately 3 hours later than its original posted time. There is an attached copy of the bus routes for Thursday.

On April 2nd only, students will attend the same lunch as their 2nd hour teacher, which may be different than their normal 4th period lunch. Teachers' names and lunches are listed on the bell schedule. We would love to see the same amazing attendance results on Thursday as we saw today. Please make sure that if you are a junior, you are here on Thursday on time! This will eliminate the need for makeups and more class time missed.
