PDS Dust Devils took time to create a schoolwide American Flag in honor of our Veteran's! Each student and staff members handprints were added along with stars that represented the family, friends, and even co-workers who have served our Nation. Thank you to all Veteran's who have and continue to serve!

Join our Buena High School Student Council on Monday, November 10th, from 6:00–7:30 PM, for an evening of fun, fitness, and community giving! 🏃‍♀️💡

Every participant will receive a punch card, and for every mile completed, Student Council will make a donation to a local veterans organization 🇺🇸.

Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸
Pueblo Del Sol Student Council participated in a meaningful act of remembrance by placing flags on the gravestones of our veterans in observance of Veterans Day. This small gesture serves as our way of showing gratitude for the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of those who served—and continue to serve—our country.

We are deeply thankful to all Veterans for protecting our freedoms and inspiring us with their courage. Your service will never be forgotten.

Last week we celebrated and encouraged buddy learning with a Hallway Graveyard Walk, where 6th and 2nd graders teamed up to solve math with coins, make friendly handprint ghosts, and we finished the day with ghostly chocolate milk and sprinkles---all while modeling our PBIS expectations! Even Officer Benjamin with SVPD joined in. Helping to make memories this Halloween.

Heads up, families! We will have a half day on 11/07 and no school on Veterans Day 11/11, as we take time to honor those who have and continue to serve our country. ❤️🤍💙

🌌 Pueblo Del Sol's DUST DEVILS from Ms. Kruse's and Ms. Mehl's 6th Grade Astronomy Day
in collaboration with The Astronomy Club of Huachuca City was a stellar success!

Superintendent Terri Romo joined in the fun and learning as one enthusiastic student guided her through creating a galaxy jar — a hands-on, creative way to explore the wonders of our universe.

🌪️ Heads up, PDS crew — Fall Break is coming in hot (well... more like crisp 🍁)! Time to swap lunchboxes for leaf piles and alarms for lazy mornings. Don’t forget to plan some fun and tell us all about it when we return on October 14th! 🍂🍄

Ms. French's class has been working hard learning about the seasons of the apple tree, life cycle of the apple tree, and using our 5 senses. As an ending culmination of our 3 week unit the students got the opportunity to learn how to make their own homemade applesauce. They learned quickly that it takes a lot of hard work and time, but the end result was absolutely "devine" as one student said.

On Friday, September 19th, your Buena Colts take on Tucson High under the lights, and we want the stands packed with Colt pride! 💙🐴💛

We are excited to kick off our first home football game of the year this Friday at 7:00 pm as we take on the defending state runner-up, ALA Gilbert North. It promises to be an exciting night under the lights, and we look forward to filling the stands with our Buena pride and spirit!

Our Varsity Colts are off to a 2-0 start, and this Friday brings some exciting milestones to watch for:
• Michael Lujan is just 50 yards away from reaching 2,000 career rushing yards.
• Coach Thomas has the opportunity to earn his 50th career win at Buena.

As a thank you for your support, all district staff members receive free admission and may bring one guest free of charge. Please be sure to present your district ID card at the gate for entry.
