π¦ Whooooβs been working hard? Our 5th graders! π¦
Ms. Cabreraβs fifth grade class has been hard at work on their novel study, Hoot! Through their learning, students explored ecosystems, the importance of protecting environments, and the needs of burrowing owls.
To show their understanding, they created detailed dioramasβand they did a real hoot of a job! Each project was creative, thoughtful, and clearly showed the effort they put into their work.
We are so proud of their hard work and creativity! π

ππ Blasting Off Into Learning! ππ Mrs. Avery's fourth graders have been reaching for the stars! β They began by reading Moon Over Star, a powerful story that takes us back to the historic 1969 Moon landing through the eyes of a family watching history unfold. From there, students became researchers as they investigated and reported on NASAβs upcoming Artemis II mission! To wrap up this out-of-this-world learning, students are now engineering and building their own rockets as a culminating hands-on project. The excitement, creativity, and curiosity have been sky-highβand we may have a few future astronauts and engineers in the making! πβ¨
