The Sierra Vista Fire Department allowed our middle and elementary student council students to lead the Pledge of Allegiance Friday at their 9/11 Memorial service. Battalion Chief Meeker looked at our students after he described his memory from that day and said, "Someday you will decide what type of country you want this to be..." It is very much up to this generation of young minds to shape the future of America. Thank you for allowing HM to be part of your child's lives! Go Bolts!

Our middle school and elementary Student Council spent their Sunday morning cleaning up the grounds at Thunder Mountain Church. Thank you to Randy Youngblood and Justin McPeak for letting us join the team and for allowing our students to work hard to serve the community!

Our August Coyotes of the Month were May Larson for volleyball and Carden Patrick for cross country!

Carden is an excellent student-athlete and his teammates all look up to him. Carden works hard every practice and is a consistent performer at his meets. His teammates count on his leadership ability and his teachers all enjoy having him in class! Way to represent!

Maylene Larson consistently shows up to every practice, works hard, and has a great attitude. In the last game against Benson, she stepped up when we really needed her. Her serving helped bring us back into the game, and she also made some important passes. She is a great example of staying positive, working hard, being a great teammate, and always being ready when her team needs her.

🏐🏃 SVUSD Coyotes Are Off to a Great Start! 🐾🎉

Our Middle School quarter 1 sports season is underway, and our student-athletes are already making us proud!

🏐 Girls Volleyball is starting strong, winning their first two games of the season! Way to bring the energy, teamwork, and Coyote spirit!

🏃 Cross Country competed in a huge meet alongside more than 150 runners, with two Coyotes earning Top 10 finishes!

Middle School Curriculum Night:
Our curriculum night will be Tuesday, August 18th from 4:30-6:30 pm. We believe this evening is important for families to understand how middle school is structured, and understand what is expected of your student at Huachuca Mountain.

**Our middle school will have a different schedule, so you can meet all teachers!**
Core Class Rotations

Rotation 1: 5:00–5:10
Rotation 2: 5:12–5:22
Rotation 3: 5:24–5:34
Rotation 4: 5:36–5:46

Families will rotate through their student’s core classes during these four rotations.

Elective Rotations

Rotation 1: 5:50–6:00
Rotation 2: 6:05–6:15
Rotation 3: 6:20–6:30

Good Afternoon Families, For students interested in trying out for Cross Country and Girls Volleyball, tryouts start tomorrow. To be eligible to participate in tryouts, students must: Register for their sport through Aktivate https://www.registermyathlete.com/login/ Select Joyce Clark for the school. Transportation To make participation easier for families across the district, transportation will be provided from Carmichael Neighborhood School, Huachuca Mountain Neighborhood School, and Pueblo del Sol Neighborhood School to Town & Country Neighborhood School for all interested student-athletes during tryouts and throughout the season for practices and games. Parents/guardians are responsible for picking up their student-athletes from the Town & Country Neighborhood School campus at the conclusion of all tryouts, practices, and games. Return transportation to neighborhood schools will not be provided after athletic activities.
