It is always fun to have Halloween at school! Many of our sites held costume parades for student's to show off their costumes. Even staff got dressed up! Check out some of staff Halloween Costumes from across the district. We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!
Winter Sports are upon us and tryouts will be starting next week on 10/31/2022. To ensure everyone has the correct information please read the information below carefully.
Requirements:
- All students must have a completed register my athlete account
- All students must have valid medical insurance
- All students must have a signed practice permit from the Athletics Office to give to the coach on the first day
Tryout Information:
Please note that student-athletes will not be able to participate after the cut-off date
• Boys Basketball
o Try-outs will start on 10/31 and the last day to try-out is on 11/4
o Practice will be from 3-5PM with one team going 5-7PM (information on this after teams made) in the Buena High School Gym
• Girls Basketball
o Try-outs will start on 10/31 and the last day to try-out is on 11/4
o Practice will be from 5-7PM in the Buena High School Gym
• Boys Soccer
o Try-outs will start on 10/31 and the last day to try-out is on 11/4
o Practice will be at the city field (Domingo Paiz field) from 3:30-5:30pm
• Girls Soccer
o Try-outs will start on 10/31 and the last day to try-out is on 11/4
o Practice will be at the city field (CYR Center Park) from 5-7pm
• Boys & Girls Wrestling (not a cut sport)
o Practice start on 10/31 and the last day to participate is on 11/11
o Practice will be in the Buena High School Practice gym from 3:00-6:00pm
• Athletic Participation Fees
o $160 for each sport played
50% of the fee before participation in a game
100% of the fee before participating in another sport
o All equipment & fees from previous seasons must be returned before participating in a game
o If paying with Tax Credit, please note we are not able to refund Tax Credit money for any reason
o All athletes will be invoiced through myschoolbucks there is no need to pay before
Please do not pay sport fees until after your student has been invoiced

Today we traveled in a boat, a ferry, a bus and a tram. We are enjoying mass transit in Saxony. The Schloss (Castle) Pillnitz on the Elbe River was lovely to see.

We visited Festung (Fortress) Konigstein today. Historically this Fortress has held several functions. The view of the Elbe River was amazing.
Students had a meeting with the member of the German Parliament who represents the portion of Saxony where Radebeul. And they provided us a delicious lunch!

We arrived in Berlin today and were able to see the Brandenburg Gate and the Jewish Victims Memorial. Our group now includes students from our other Sister City, Cananea 🇲🇽 🇩🇪🇺🇲

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military.
