The Carmichael Bears are happy to welcome Dr. Caroline Ross as their counselor and thrilled to see her colorful and inspirational hallway. Welcome to the team Dr. Ross! In every hallway at Carmichael, our students are now seeing a βSensory Pathβ. The sensory path is a series of guided movements for kids to follow, shown by markings on the ground or walls. As our students follow the path and complete the movements, they work off excess energy and develop their gross motor skills. Way to go!

Yesterday morning Bella Vista families got to enjoy a treat sponsored by the Bobcat PTO. The PTO invited all parents and guardians to βPastries with Parentsβ where delicious confections were offered to start the day and the opportunity to order spirit gear and learn all about the PTO. Come out on Friday, when the PTO is kicking off the fundraising season for this school year at Julie & Sammy's 33 Flavors Ice Cream Parlor between 4 pm to 8 pm. Thank you Bobcat PTO volunteers for a sweet morning!

Good afternoon. At this time, we are tracking a lightning alert in our area. Lightning is currently within 5 miles of PDS . Students will be held until lightning is no longer in the area. Parents may opt to sign their children out in the front office during the delay, please bring your ID with you if you are picking up your student. We will continue to watch for lightning in the area in the next 30 minutes, if at that time there is no more lightning bus riders and walkers will be released. Thanks for your patience.
