In a dazzling display of talent and creativity, a group of 4th through 6th graders captivated the Bolts with their remarkable performance of the play "Matilda". The theatrical production showcased the incredible dedication, passion, and skill of the young performers, leaving spectators in awe and admiration. Through their outstanding acting, singing, and dancing, these students proved that age is no barrier to artistic excellence. Come and see the performance tomorrow, Saturday, May 20th, 6:30 pm at Huachuca Mountain. Thank you for the dedication of the volunteers of the Music Club! GO BOLTS!

Village Meadows 6th graders took a field trip to the wonderful Carr Canyon. After a short hike from the parking lot to the Carr House the students were greeted by volunteers from several local nonprofit organizations. Tables with different stations were set up and as the groups moved from station to station, they learned about geology, local history and animals, trail safety, local plants and foods, astrology, and how to sketch. There were rock samples, sun gazing telescopes, a scavenger hunt, and much more to touch, feel and see. One highlight was Sierra Vista City Councilman Mark Rodriguez sharing his wisdom about trail safety and the secret of nutrition on hikes in the form of an MRE (Meals Ready to Eat). Mr. Rodriguez let the astound 6th graders taste pancakes, cookies, and a chicken burrito bowl. This trip truly brought our local environment and nature closer to our students. Thank you to all volunteers and nonprofit organizations (Friends of the Huachuca Mountains, Sierra Vista Astronomy Club, Friends of the San Pedro, Water Wise, Jeff McLeod).
