Mason Gordon was selected as this week’s Male athlete of the week! Over the season he showed how much of a hardworking and dedicated athlete he is. Mason was one of two Buena players to make 1st team all region. He also leads the team in assists and is one of the top all round players on his team. Congratulations Mason, and thank you for everything you did for Buena basketball!
Kamaile Kerr is this week's Female athlete of the week. Throughout the winter sports season, Kamaile served as the goalie for our Girls Soccer Team, demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication. She is second in the state for most saves with 211 for the season. Even though this was her first year playing soccer in highschool she was a valuable asset to the team. Kamaile sets a great example with her competitive spirit, all while maintaining respect both on and off the field. As she transitions into track season, where she will be competing in Javelin throwing, we extend our best wishes to her.
This morning, Buena High School staff had to call 911 for a student experiencing a medical emergency on a bus. EMS are at Buena and the student’s parents have been notified. There was no threat or danger to Buena. Thank you to our staff and EMS for their care and quick response.
