π SVUSD Schools Supporting a Great Cause! π
All SVUSD schools are proudly participating in the Edward Jones Food Drive throughout October! Each classroom is collecting non-perishable food items, and the classroom with the most donations will win a pizza party sponsored by Edward Jones for each site. ππ
But the real winners are our local food pantries and community members who will benefit from your generosity. Our students are excited to make a difference, and this is a beautiful example of how we can come together as a community to support those in need. ππ«Ά
If you've already donated, THANK YOU for your kindness! π If you'd still like to contribute, donations are being accepted until the end of October. Every can and every box makes a big impact! π₯«β€οΈ #SVUSDGivesBack #CommunityStrong #EdwardJonesFoodDrive #EmpoweringYou

π¨ October is Anti-Bullying Month! π¨
At SVUSD, we are proud to say we have no tolerance for bullying in our schools. We are fully committed to educating our students on the importance of kindness and respect, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for everyone.
π This year, we've implemented the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program across our district to further educate and empower our students. The program equips students and staff with tools and language to prevent bullying by fostering stronger, more positive peer relationships.
π In honor of Unity Day on Wednesday, October 16th, we invite all students to wear orange to show their support for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Together, we can stand up to bullying and continue to make SVUSD schools a positive place for all! π§‘πͺ #AntiBullyingMonth
