Hello Wolfpack,
My name is Christopher Smith, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Village Meadows Elementary. After more than a decade of leadership in K-8 schools, I'm thrilled to be returning to Arizona- a place that has always felt like home- and even more thrilled to be joining such a high-performing school with a reputation for academic excellence and outstanding community involvement.
As a lifelong learner, I believe that curiosity and growth never stop. I'm constantly seeking new ways to support students and teachers- whether through exploring educational technology, building collaborative relationships, or staying grounded in what works best for kids. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, tinkering with the latest tech, and- yes- solving the Rubik's Cube. (I'm always up for a challenge!)
What drew me to this school was not just its strong academic track record, but the genuine partnership between families, educators, and the wider community. That spirit of collaboration is something I deeply value, and I look forward to listening, learning, and leading alongside all of you.
