Dear Town & Country Families,
As we wrap up the month of February, I want to take a moment to celebrate the learning, growth, and dedication happening every day at Town & Country.
This month, our staff continued professional learning connected to Classrooms in Motion, with a focus on strengthening student collaboration. You may hear your child talk about working in structured groups or rotating through learning activities — this is intentional! Our goal is to create classrooms where students are actively engaged, thinking deeply, and learning from one another. Collaboration builds communication skills, confidence, and a stronger academic understanding.
In addition, our teachers have been working intentionally within Tier 1 instruction — which simply means strengthening core classroom instruction so all students receive high-quality, targeted learning the first time it is taught. Teachers are closely monitoring student progress, identifying early “red flags,” and making instructional adjustments quickly to support student acceleration. Rather than waiting for students to fall behind, we are working proactively to keep them on track and moving forward.
While we did not earn A+ status this year, we remain incredibly proud of our continued academic growth and the dedication of our staff and students. Growth matters. Progress matters. And our students are making meaningful strides because of the consistent effort happening in every classroom.
Thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and trust. Together, we are building strong learners, strong habits, and a strong school community.
We are proud of where we are — and excited about where we are headed.
With appreciation,
Stephanie Elson
