These talented students represented Buena at All-State Choir in Flagstaff, from April 10β12, singing under the direction of Dr. Sharon Paul from the University of Oregon. π²πΆ
Chosen through a rigorous two-level audition process and an additional performance, they joined 200 of the top high school vocalists in Arizona for this incredible experience.

COLTON HAWS- Colton is a great student athlete, and team player. He has demonstrated throughout the season to be smart and tenacious. During Practice and games, Colton displays grit and determination on every point; no matter how tough the opponent. He is a great asset to our team.
KIM'MYA JOHNSON- For her great attitude, steady performance and competitive spirit. Kim is tough and led the team in the Superdog inner squad competition.

Michelle Moreno Jimenez dedicated her junior year to completing CNA clinicals, demonstrating her commitment to both academics and professional development. Now returning to the team in her senior year, she has proven to be a valuable asset, showcasing athleticism and leadership. Her presence not only strengthens the team but also serves as an inspiration to her peers, highlighting the balance between academic ambition and athletic dedication.
Jaxson Bell exemplifies consistency, always bringing a strong work ethic and determination to every competition. His competitive spirit drives both himself and his teammates to push their limits and strive for excellence. As a natural leader, he inspires confidence and teamwork, making him an invaluable presence on and off the field.


Buena Auto made an appearance last weekend at Kars for Kids! Mr. Bounds and students demonstrated how to remove spark plugs. We have some very talented mechanics entering our community!


Cheer tryouts for current 9th, 10th and 11th grade Buena students.... incoming freshmen and transfer student workouts over the summer with tryouts in August




Great weather and good sports this week!




Buena High School Criminal Justice Club students participated in a joint training exercise with Rio Rico High school students and the and Arizona Department of Public Safety Gang Task Force. Students received tactical training on high risk traffic stops, identifying gang behavior, suspicious activity, undercover scenario's, defensive tactics, and training on individuals experiencing mental health crisis. This training was very beneficial for students looking at careers in the law enforcement career field.


Buena had the opportunity to visit Cochise College yesterday . We are grateful for our partnership and excited for our students taking steps toward their future!


There are always exciting things happening with Buena DECA! Time is approaching fast ~ 4 more weeks until ICDC in Florida! Congratulations ! We cant wait to see what you accomplish!
