🌊📚 Bella Vista and Huachuca Mountain Elementary 4th grade participate in a new Sierra Vista adventure! 📚🌊 We're thrilled to announce that our fourth graders had the incredible opportunity to be part of the inaugural Sierra Vista Water Festival! 💧 This festival is a collaborative effort between municipalities, school districts, corporate sponsors, and Arizona Project Wet (UA's Water Education for Teachers and Students). Prior to the event, participating teachers engaged in professional development and lessons with their classes, preparing them for an immersive experience. On the big day, all students delved into four stations featuring hands-on activities covering the water cycle, water conservation technology, watershed, and groundwater. This year's event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of 16 volunteers, all employees of Liberty Utilities and the Arizona Water Company. A huge shout out to these volunteers for making this day truly special for our students! Special thanks also go to Mrs. Kosminder from the Water Wise program for her invaluable contributions. 🎉🐾 Exciting News from Bella Vista Elementary School! 🐾🎉 🏠 Two weeks ago, the Bobcats were added into one of 16 fantastic house groups, uniting students from Kindergarten to 6th grade! Each group chose an animal name and will stay together for the remainder of the school year. 🎈 With 17-18 students per house, they're set for epic competitions every 2-3 weeks, rewarding everybody for good behavior, attendance, and punctuality through our PBIS Program! 🛴 Yesterday, we kicked off our first Bobcat Game Day with a thrilling team scooter race!
