Town & Country and JCMS are currently experiencing a phone and internet outage. Staff are unable to receive or make phone calls or receive emails. Cox Communication is aware of the issue and are working to resolve it.

This morning as students were about to start class Sierra Vista Police Department were pursuing an individual. They followed the individual onto campus and arrested them. At no time was there any threat or danger to JCMS students or staff.

Today, Wednesday the 2nd, is an early release day at all SVUSD schools. JCMS parents, please remember school ends at 2:15 pm today. Thank you for your support and welcome back!

Who is ready to start school?!?!?! All SVUSD schools have their first day on Wednesday, August 2nd. We are excited to have everyone back after the summer break. Just a few reminders, buses will be out in the community so please be cautious when driving. There are a lot of first day jitters so routes may take a little longer than normal. Drivers, be on the lookout for all school zones and remember to slow down. Be sure to load your MySchoolBucks account so your students can buy meals if they need. Wednesday is an early release day. Elementary ends at 12:45pm, JCMS ends at 2:15pm and Buena ends at noon. We cannot wait to see everyone on Wednesday!

Parents and students, your 23/24 class schedule should now be available to you on your StudentVUE and ParentVUE accounts! If you were unable to come in for your schedule and ID, you are welcome to come in any weekday between 9AM and 3PM and we can make sure that you have what you need in order to have a successful school year.

The 2023/2024 school year is right around the corner and it's time to start getting ready for the new school year! On July 19th and 20th we will be setting our incoming 7th graders and 8th graders up for success! Make sure to mark your calendars for the following.

Sierra Vista Unified School District is a 1:1 Chromebook District. All students at JCMS will receive a Chromebook they will take to and from school. The District offers families Chromebook insurance. Insurance can be purchased annually for $35.00 or at a discount rate of $53 for two years. Please review the District Device Handbook for detailed information on District device expectations and guidelines.
