Tomorrow is a special SPIRIT DAY. Put on your cowboy boots and get’n some western wear and join us for the Boots and Belles themed dance from 4:00–5:30. There will be a professional DJ, a dance-off, and a corn hole tournament with prizes to the winners. Admission is $3 with permission slip! Event has been announced all week, for accurate count, permission slips are best submitted no later than Noon on Friday!

🚀🔬 Exciting STEAM Day Alert! 🎉 Last Friday, the JCMS Coyotes had an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of STEAM! 🌟 With the help of the Arizona Science Center, Sierra Vista became a hub of innovation and learning. While our fantastic teachers honed their skills, our students embarked on an adventure through eight immersive stations. 🌈 From engineering parachutes to crafting stomp rockets, it was all hands on deck! 💡 But the fun didn't stop there – our coyotes also delved into the world of coding with Ozobots and navigated self-built mazes with Syheros to name some of the exciting stations. 🤖 A huge shoutout to the Arizona Science Center for sparking curiosity and igniting passion in our students! 🙌 #STEAMEducation #HandsOnLearning #InnovationAtJCMS 💫

🌟🏫 Today, all JCMS eighth graders embarked on an exciting journey to Buena High School! 🐾 They were greeted warmly by Principal Young and embarked on a campus tour led by our talented theater students. 🎭 From culinary to marketing to nursing and more, they explored the diverse offerings at Buena. 🍳💼🩺 Back at the Klein Center, they were treated to performances by the choir, JROTC, and an improv showcase from the theater class. 🎶👏 Want to find out more? This afternoon, Joyce Clark Middle School staff had to call 911 for a student experiencing a medical emergency. EMS are at JCMS and the student’s parents have been notified. There was no threat or danger to JCMS. Thank you to our staff and EMS for their care and quick response.
