Huachuca Mountain Lightning Bolt Spirit Gear!
Our garden space at Huachuca Mountain needed some love! The first picture is where it started, and the last is the final project! This project was a community effort for sure! Thunder Mountain church got us started, and Huachuca Mountain PTO bought the rock. Student Council and NEHS made it happen! (And public schools are run on husband labor! πŸ˜‰) During the process, parents came to help! 🩡🩡Our students were amazing, and did hard things!⚑️⚑️Thank you Ms. Wise, Ms. Vinch and Coach Mac! Thank Norton and Marturello family! Thanks to Thunder Mountain Church and our PTO!

Power Restored
Dear Huachuca Mountain Families,

Thank you for your continued patience as we adjust to today’s power outage. The air conditioning in the Huachuca Mountain MPR/Cafeteria has also stopped working, so all grade levels (K–6 and TLC) are now at the Sierra Vista United Methodist Church Activity Center for the remainder of the day.

Families wishing to pick up their students should go to the Activity Center doors with their ID. Buses will continue to run as normal at the end of the school day.

We are deeply grateful for our staff, who continue to keep students safe and comfortable, and for our families, who have shown great flexibility and support during this unusual day.

With appreciation,
