✅ Buena releases at 10:30 AM

Huachuca Mountain Lightning Bolt Spirit Gear!
Our garden space at Huachuca Mountain needed some love! The first picture is where it started, and the last is the final project! This project was a community effort for sure! Thunder Mountain church got us started, and Huachuca Mountain PTO bought the rock. Student Council and NEHS made it happen! (And public schools are run on husband labor! 😉) During the process, parents came to help! 🩵🩵Our students were amazing, and did hard things!⚡️⚡️Thank you Ms. Wise, Ms. Vinch and Coach Mac! Thank Norton and Marturello family! Thanks to Thunder Mountain Church and our PTO!

Our 6th graders hit the field for a friendly class vs. class game yesterday. After an exciting comeback, Team Nogales defeated Team LaPaglia 7–4! 🙌

Dear Huachuca Mountain Families,
We are happy to share that classes will resume as normal at Huachuca Mountain tomorrow.
Thank you to our families, students, and staff for your patience, flexibility, and support during today’s unusual circumstances. A very special thank you goes to the Sierra Vista United Methodist Church for graciously opening their Activity Center and allowing our students and staff to call it home for the day.
We are grateful for our strong community and proud of how everyone came together to keep students safe and cared for. We look forward to welcoming our Bolts back into the building tomorrow!

Thank you! Thank you to our incredibly flexible staff for quickly pivoting to move students to our amazingly supportive Methodist Church. Thank you! Thank you to our office staff who had everything ready to ensure accountability and safety for our kids! Thank you! Thank you to our AMAZING students who were respectful and kind all day today. Finally, thank you to our parents who were patient and thoughtful. (we appreciate the Gatorade and water today!)

Dear Huachuca Mountain Families,

We are happy to share that full electricity has been restored at Huachuca Mountain. All students are being escorted back to the school building at this time.

Dismissal will take place on a normal schedule, and all students can be picked up directly from Huachuca Mountain this afternoon. Bus transportation will also run as usual.

Thank you again for your patience, flexibility, and support today. We are so proud of our staff and students for handling this unexpected situation with such resilience.
