Pueblo Del Sol Student Council volunteered to place wreaths on the graves of our fallen soldiers at Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Wreaths Across America. It's a meaningful way to teach them the importance of remembering our fallen soldiers and honoring the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Moments like this help them understand gratitude, service, and the lasting impact of remembering those who served.

As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of our incredible staff and families. Last week we celebrated and encouraged buddy learning with a Hallway Graveyard Walk, where 6th and 2nd graders teamed up to solve math with coins, make friendly handprint ghosts, and we finished the day with ghostly chocolate milk and sprinkles---all while modeling our PBIS expectations! Even Officer Benjamin with SVPD joined in. Helping to make memories this Halloween.
