PDS Student Council will be hosting a Holiday Art Gallery! Every student at PDS has created a special piece of art for our silent auction! Come join us for an afternoon of fun! We will have art pieces to bid on, cookie decorating, and crafts. It's sure to be a fun event!

Pueblo Del Sol Student Council volunteered to place wreaths on the graves of our fallen soldiers at Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Wreaths Across America. It's a meaningful way to teach them the importance of remembering our fallen soldiers and honoring the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Moments like this help them understand gratitude, service, and the lasting impact of remembering those who served.

Sierra Vista City Councilman Mr. Mark Rodriguez brought energy and inspiration to Pueblo Del Sol Elementary School during his recent visit. Accompanied by members of his City Youth Council, he met with Pueblo Del Sol’s Student Council to talk about leadership and what it truly means to make a positive impact in our community. The Youth Council members shared exciting stories about their roles, the opportunities they’ve had while serving on the council, and how growing up in Sierra Vista has shaped their passion for giving back. It was an empowering and motivating experience for all the students involved.

Each student and staff members handprints were added along with stars that represented the family, friends, and even co-workers who have served our Nation. Join our Buena High School Student Council on Monday, November 10th, from 6:00–7:30 PM, for an evening of fun, fitness, and community giving! 🏃‍♀️💡

Every participant will receive a punch card, and for every mile completed, Student Council will make a donation to a local veterans organization 🇺🇸.

Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸
Pueblo Del Sol Student Council participated in a meaningful act of remembrance by placing flags on the gravestones of our veterans in observance of Veterans Day. This small gesture serves as our way of showing gratitude for the bravery, sacrifice, and dedication of those who served—and continue to serve—our country.

We are deeply thankful to all Veterans for protecting our freedoms and inspiring us with their courage. Your service will never be forgotten.

Last week we celebrated and encouraged buddy learning with a Hallway Graveyard Walk, where 6th and 2nd graders teamed up to solve math with coins, make friendly handprint ghosts, and we finished the day with ghostly chocolate milk and sprinkles---all while modeling our PBIS expectations! Even Officer Benjamin with SVPD joined in. Helping to make memories this Halloween.

Heads up, families! We will have a half day on 11/07 and no school on Veterans Day 11/11, as we take time to honor those who have and continue to serve our country. ❤️🤍💙
