🌟🔬✨ The Town and Country Roadrunners soared into the world of STEAM once again, thanks to another exciting visit from the Arizona Science Center! 🚀 On Wednesday, our students had a blast exploring mind-boggling puzzles, concocting slime, taking their first steps into coding, and witnessing the magic of combustion. While our incredible classroom teachers had their own STEAM lesson, our students were fully engaged with the Science Center experts. But that is not all, last week our little ones at Town and Country Preschool also had an unforgettable visit from Arizona Science Center. 👩‍🏫🍎 Last week was a momentous occasion as we celebrated our Teachers of the Year at SVUSD! 🌟 We're immensely grateful for the dedication and passion that each and every one of our educators brings to our district. 🎉 At the board meeting, we had the honor of recognizing outstanding teachers from each school. Carmichael: Ashley Blaskowsky, Bella Vista: Gayle Zehr, Huachuca Mountain: Michelle McCalister, Pueblo Del Sol: Mandy Stanley, Town and Country Lorena Russell, Village Meadows: Michele Quinones Joyce Clark Middle School: Richard Graeme, and Buena High School: Beverly Adams. 🏫We proudly presented the moment everyone had been waiting for... the SVUSD Teacher of the Year! 🏆 Join us in giving Michele Quinones from Village Meadows a thunderous round of applause! 🎉🍕🐭 Fun times at Town and Country! 🐭🍕🎉 Yesterday, our top PBIS point scorers had a blast at the Roving Chef program, courtesy of our amazing food service partner, SFE! 🍽️ They rolled dough, added toppings, and created their own delicious pizzas from scratch. But the fun didn't stop there! 🍓 They also crafted adorable mice out of strawberries and even whipped up whole pizzas for our dedicated TC staff. 🍕👩‍🍳 Way to go, Roadrunners! 🌟🎉 Despite a Change of Plans, Monday's Roadrunner Rally was a Success! 🎉🌟 This Monday, our Roadrunner Rally took on a different twist due to the weather, but that didn't stop us from celebrating our students' achievements in style! 🌧️☔️ With the outdoor assembly canceled, our creative Roadrunners found a solution – we went virtual! 🖥️💻 Thanks to the power of technology, our dedicated team connected via Google Meet to recognize and honor all recipients for their outstanding academic accomplishments. It was a heartwarming moment of celebration, bringing our school community together despite the distance. After the virtual rally, our deserving students were able to swing by the office to pick up their well-deserved certificates, ensuring they received their recognition in person.
