December wrapped up in the most joyful and creative way! Our students explored the element of color through hands-on art experiences—mixing primary and secondary colors, experimenting with tints and shades, and turning their ideas into beautiful works of art.
🎶 In music, students practiced focused listening and learned to identify different genres and cultural styles by exploring rhythm, tempo, instruments, and mood.
From vibrant Rainbow Santa Clauses to Starry Night–inspired winter scenes, our artists showcased creativity, imagination, and pride in every project. We are so proud of their hard work and growth this month!

Our 4th-grade students put on their thinking caps during Capture the Candy Cane, working collaboratively to solve 4th-grade math questions on prime and composite numbers.
Students discussed strategies, justified their thinking, and worked together to capture candy canes through academic problem-solving—all while keeping learning fun and engaging! This is an excellent example of how collaboration and rigor come together in our classrooms.
