Our readers and writers were hard at work demonstrating their understanding through visual analysis projects! πβ¨
Students chose a graphic to show their understanding of a chapter and used colors, illustrations, and annotations to represent mood, themes, ideas, and plot elements from the text. They supported their thinking with strong textual evidence and shared how their visuals connected to the story.
We loved seeing students think deeply, make meaning, and bring literature to life through creativity and analysis. Incredible work by our learners! π¬π¨

First graders at Town & Country recently had the chance to work with partners to conduct a science experiment on friction. Students were asked the following question: What materials create the most heat when exposed to friction? Many materials were laid out for the partners to look at and make their predictions. Then they got to test their theories by rubbing the materials and judging the amount of heat created.

Our 3rd graders are stepping into history and engineering! πΏποΈ
βI can build a structure using natural materials like the Native Americans. I can test and improve my design!β
Through hands-on exploration, students investigated how Indigenous peoples used natural resources to create shelters and tools, then designed, tested, and refined their own structures. Learning came alive through creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving!
