The City of Sierra Vista's Parks and Leisure Department offers the Sparks After School Recreation Program. Sparks is a group-based recreation program featuring a variety of activities such as: arts & crafts, games, and sports. It is available to kids in kindergarten through 6th grade
Sparks also offers winter break, spring break, and summer recreation programs.

The Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista provides a safe, fun place for the youth of Sierra Vista and its surrounding communities. The clubhouse is a 12,300-square-foot facility with a gym, technology lab, art room, game room, activity room, teen room, kitchen, outdoor picnic and play area, and more. The club serves over 500 youth each year. In addition to its after-school program, the Club offers a summer program, flag football league, educational and skill development programs, and more.
